Manufacturing demo privacy

This notice describes the interactive Shiftix Manufacturing Prototype V6.3. It supplements the privacy policy of the website that provides the demo. Do not use the demo for actual workforce scheduling or enter real employee, health or other personal data.

Fictional data and features

The demo currently contains 98 predefined fictional employees with the surname “Test”, fictional production lines, job roles, qualifications, line and shift authorizations, weekly hours and staffing requirements. Shift schedules, predefined absences—including fictional sick leave and doctor’s appointments—requests, September examples, messages, notifications and reports also use test data.

You can generate an October 2026 shift schedule and, in replacement search, select a fictional employee, a reason for the change and, where applicable, an absence code. These actions change only the local demo. The interface blocks employee, line and request creation or editing, as well as its export and print buttons.

You can type a draft in the message windows. Sending and saving are disabled; the prototype does not add the draft to its stored data. Closing the window or reloading the page discards it. Do not enter real information there either.

Local storage and reset

The prototype processes test scheduling in the browser and saves its fictional data set in Local Storage. This includes assignments, absence reasons and replacements selected during the demo, message read status, simulated notifications and local activity history. The data remains in the same browser profile after a reload or tab closure. The prototype does not set its own cookies or use Session Storage for these features.

“Clear schedule” removes October assignments, absences recorded during the demo and notifications created by demo actions. Predefined fictional absences and September examples remain. This does not delete the entire Local Storage record; for example, an internal test activity history may remain. To remove all locally stored demo data, clear the website data or Local Storage for the demo in your browser settings. The fictional starting data will be recreated on the next visit.

No real delivery or production connection

Automatic planning, replacement search, requests and notifications are simulated within the prototype. The inspected demo code does not send schedule or absence data, or message drafts, to an application server or other people. It has no connection to the production Shiftix application and no demo-specific analytics or tracking interface.

Website delivery

When the demo files are requested, the hosting provider may process technical access data such as IP address, browser details, time and requested files. The surrounding website may have its own analytics and consent settings, separate from the demo’s local functions. The privacy policy of the website providing the demo covers the controller, contact details, server logs, retention periods and your rights. If the demo is provided through shiftix.at, TACD Solutions GmbH can be contacted at info@tacd-solutions.com.
